These terms are an agreement between you and Surge Software Solutions Private Limited, which operates CitedWriter.

Using CitedWriter

CitedWriter is a research and writing assistant. You are responsible for your work and for following your institution's rules on AI use, citation and plagiarism. Don't use the service to submit work that isn't yours, to break the law, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content

You own what you write and upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. Only upload PDFs you have the right to use.

AI output

AI suggestions can be wrong. Check facts, quotes and interpretations against your sources. Integrity checks are estimates and are not official reports.

Plans and payment

The service is free. Optional third-party services are charged at cost from credit you load; there is no subscription. See the refund policy. Prices include applicable taxes where shown.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bengaluru having jurisdiction.
