Chat with a research paper, with every answer tied to a page
Upload a research paper and ask questions. Every answer quotes the page it came from, and we check the quote is really on that page. Free.
How it works
- Upload a text PDF (up to 25 MB). We read every page and try to identify the paper, so it can join your library as a verified reference.
- Ask anything: the research question, method, sample, findings with numbers, limitations.
- Each answer quotes the page it used, like [p. 4]. A green tick means we found that exact quote on that page; an amber warning means we couldn't, so you know to check it.
- Click a citation to jump the PDF to that page.
Why page-checked quotes matter
AI summaries can sound right and still misstate a paper. Showing the quote and checking it against the page text lets you verify an answer in seconds instead of trusting it.
Also on every PDF
- Check its references: every entry in the paper's reference list is checked against Crossref and OpenAlex, with a report you can download. Useful on your own thesis before submission.
- Add the paper to a literature-review table to compare it with others.
Limits
Free, with a fair-use cap of 300 questions a day and 100 PDFs in your library. Scanned PDFs without selectable text can't be read yet.
