Writing-assistant chat and review links
Ask questions about your draft, and share a read + comment link with your supervisor.
Chat with your draft
Open a document and choose Chat in the sidebar. Ask for feedback ("What is weak in my introduction?") or evidence ("Which of my sources support this claim?").
- Answers use only your draft and the verified papers in your library. The assistant cannot bring in papers you have not added.
- Markers like [S2] point to a library paper and [D1] to a passage of your draft. Each quote is checked word for word against its source and marked ✓ or ⚠.
- Click Cite to insert a verified paper at your cursor. If your library has nothing relevant, the assistant suggests a search you can run in one click.
- Every question is recorded in your AI-use log.
Share for review
Choose Review → Create read + comment link. Anyone with the link can read the document (with formatted citations and references) and leave comments without an account. They cannot edit.
- Select text before commenting to attach the passage the comment is about.
- You get an email when someone comments (at most one every 10 minutes per document).
- Resolve or reopen comments in the Review tab. Revoke turns the link off at once.
